Description Carrier RNA can enhance binding of viral nucleic acids to the MagCore beads and reduce the risk of viral RNA degradation. By way of increasing the concentration of total nucleic acid, Carrier RNA will increase the possibility to form aggregation between target and beads. Carrier RNA has the greatest bene?t when the input concentration is very low. RBC’s Carrier RNA is synthetic poly-A ribo-nucleotide. As demonstrated in many different RT-PCR system, the small amount of poly-A RNA used as carrier RNA will not interfere subsequent RT-PCR, even when oligo-dT is used as a primer for reverse transcription. Preparation before using Add 1ml RNase Free Water to the Carrier RNA tube and mix by vortexing. Store prepared Carrier RNA at -20 ºC (1mg/ml).
